I just finished crocheting this scarf and hat for mum for Mother's Day. Only cost me $12 in wool and took me a few hours. I'm hopeless at taking photos that get both the scarf and the hat in, but at least you can see my now-2.5-week-old vertical labret piercing that is almost healed :-D

haha thanks. i dunno...the hat only cost about $5 in wool and the scarf $7. I really don't know coz I don't know how much other people charge. But my general rule at the moment with people I know is that I'll make for free if they buy the wool. It's just kinda cool to see people wearing stuff I've made :-D

though you'd probably have to take measurements. i have a weirdly small head. gosh. i went out tonight - i haven't been drinking in so long that two beers and i'm kind of on the floor. yay. me! yay.

Sure thing! That same pattern or something different? That one's really big and chunky and a really simple pattern but I can change it to what you want.

can you do black with a white trim at the bottom? ooh and can you make white spots/something in the beanie? i don't know! whatever you want :)
